At least two people have died and two others have been seriously injured after being run over by a vehicle in a pedestrian zone in the center of Leipzig, in eastern Germany, according to police sources to local media.
The incident occurred on the commercial street Grimmaische Strasse, near Augustusplatz, when an SUV-type car would have burst into the pedestrian area and rammed a group of people.
