The Chinese government has updated this Sunday the balance of citizens of the country who have died as a consequence of the strong flood that has affected the border crossing with Nepal, originated by a landslide that occurred further north, in the Chinese autonomous region of Tibet.

At the same time, the authorities of the Asian giant have reduced by 546 the number of people who remain missing, according to the state news agency Xinhua.

With these new figures, the provisional count of fatalities after the rise of the Bhotekoshi River in the mountainous district of Rasuwa, near the border with the Chinese autonomous region of Tibet, would be almost 700, given that the last official data provided by the authorities of Nepal remains at 675.
