At least six Palestinians, including a child, have lost their lives and several more have been injured in recent hours due to a new wave of bombings and shootings by the Israeli Army against different areas of the Gaza Strip. The attacks have occurred despite the ceasefire agreement sealed in October 2025, within the framework of the proposal by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, regarding the future of the enclave.
Local sources cited by the Palestinian newspaper "Filastin" have indicated that a 21-year-old young man, identified as Husam Fajri Muhamad al Zamili, has died after being shot in the chest during a raid south of the city of Khan Younis, in the south of the Strip.
In parallel, a drone attack against another displaced persons camp in the southwest area has resulted in the death of Tamer abú Sneima, 24 years old, and the minor Juri Islam al Sufi, in addition to causing several injuries from bullet impacts inside the tents. A fourth person, Anas Akram al Hamaida, who has also died in the context of these attacks, is added to these victims.
Likewise, two other people have died and several have been injured in a new Israeli drone attack on the city of Deir al-Balah, in the center of the Gaza Strip, according to the same sources.
The military operations have also extended to other points of the Palestinian enclave, with intense artillery bombardments to the east and northwest of Khan Younis. In the city of Gaza, Israeli drones have dropped incendiary bombs on displaced persons in the Shujaiya neighborhood, while in the center of the Strip, incursions of heavy armored vehicles have been recorded north of the Al Bureij refugee camp.
The Gaza Health Ministry has indicated that in the last 24 hours, eight deaths and 35 injuries have been confirmed, so the toll since the ceasefire came into effect now amounts to 1,559 dead and 5,608 injured. In addition, it has reported the recovery of 845 bodies in the areas of the city of Gaza from which Israeli troops withdrew after the aforementioned agreement.
In its statement, disseminated through social networks, the Ministry has added that, since the beginning of the Israeli offensive following the attacks of October 7, 2023 —which left about 1,200 dead and nearly 250 kidnapped, according to the official toll from Israeli authorities—, 74,555 dead and 175,727 injured have been counted in the Strip.
On the other hand, the Israeli Army communicated this Monday the death of two supposed members of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in bombings carried out last week against Gaza, among them one identified as Muhamad Halaua, whom it describes as "commander of the Military Intelligence unit" of the group's armed wing, the Ezeldín al Qasam Brigades.
Hours later, the Israeli Armed Forces reported three other "terrorists" attacked on Sunday after emerging from a tunnel in the area of Khan Younis, in the south of the enclave. The presumed fighters were hit by Israeli aviation and the "secondary explosions" would have confirmed the presence of weaponry inside the tunnel, without the Army specifying whether the "terrorists" died.
The second deceased has been identified as Ahmed Zuhair Fuad abú Uda, "engineering commander of the military wing of Hamas," according to the Army itself, which has assured that both "promoted terrorist plans against the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the citizens of the State of Israel" and "worked to restore Hamas's capabilities, systematically violating the ceasefire."
