The Houthi rebels of Yemen have reported this Thursday the execution of six offensives in recent hours against refineries, airports and military positions in Saudi territory, which have caused at least one minor injury in the capital, Riyadh, as has later been confirmed by the Civil Defense of the kingdom.

The military spokesman of the Houthis, General Yahya Sari, has detailed that the actions have been directed against the Ras Tanura refinery, a plant of the state oil company Aramco in Abqaiq; the King Khalid International Airport, in Riyadh; the King Fahd International Airport, in Dammam; the Rabigh oil refinery and a military base located in Najran.

Sari has maintained that this latest attack would have caused dead and injured in the Saudi ranks, although the only official version provided by the authorities of the country only acknowledges one minor injury in Riyadh, the result of the interception of two ballistic missiles.

These bombings are part of the most recent escalation of the campaign of cross-border attacks between Saudi Arabia and the Yemeni movement, currently again under arms and without truce against the Government of Yemen, displaced to the city of Aden and supported politically and militarily by Riyadh.

The conflict is also intensified by the war of Iran, which confronts the Islamic republic, ally of the Houthis, with Israel and the United States, which adds a regional dimension to the confrontation in Yemen.
