At least three Palestinians have been injured in the north of the Gaza Strip following a new airstrike carried out on the night of this Monday by the Israeli Army, after Israeli military authorities claimed that one of their vehicles had been hit by an explosion attributed to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
According to the newspaper "Filastin," the three individuals reportedly suffered injuries as a result of an Israeli bombing against a house located in the Al Tuffa neighborhood, in the eastern area of the city of Gaza.
In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) indicated that they attacked "infrastructure" of Hamas "in response to the detonation of an explosive device" against a military engineering vehicle that was traveling along the so-called 'yellow line,' an incident that reportedly did not cause casualties among their personnel.
The Israeli Army has described the attack against its vehicle as a "flagrant violation of the ceasefire agreement by the terrorist organization Hamas," despite the fact that since October 2025 nearly 1,400 Palestinians have lost their lives in Israeli military operations over the Gaza Strip.
For its part, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem has rejected the accusations, which he described as "unfounded and false," in a statement in which he asserts that they "aim to justify the violations of the occupation and the escalation of its aggression."
"We reaffirm our commitment to the ceasefire agreement, in contrast to the continuous violations of it by the occupation," emphasized the spokesperson for the Islamist movement.
