The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has decided to dismiss his chief of staff, Susie Wiles, and place in her position the one who until now was his “number two,” Stephen Miller. The change will take effect next Monday, a few days after the debacle suffered by the Republicans in the midterm legislative elections.

Trump has communicated the change through his social networks, where he has explained that Miller, whom he has described as “one of (his) most trusted advisors, will assume” the new role starting November 9.

In that same public message, the occupant of the White House has expressed his recognition of the person until now responsible for his cabinet, thanking the “exceptional” work and the “great job” of Wiles. He has also specified that the former White House secretary general “will become part of Trump’s Political Operation,” without offering, for the moment, more information about her future functions.
