The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, held a "detailed" and "constructive" exchange this Monday with the special envoy of the United States, Steve Witkoff, and with the White House advisor and son-in-law of Donald Trump, Jared Kushner, focused on negotiations to end the war with Russia.

In a message disseminated on social media, Zelensky emphasized that "It has been a detailed and constructive conversation. The dialogue between the negotiating teams of the United States and Ukraine is ongoing and work is currently being done to set the dates for the visit to Ukraine. A trip of this kind would be extremely beneficial to finalize solutions in favor of peace."

During the conversation, the head of the Ukrainian state conveyed to Witkoff and Kushner updated information about the situation on the front, where, according to his assessment, the "advances of Russia have been scarce" and have involved "enormous losses" for Moscow. "Our teams will be in close contact to work on the agenda and the most suitable timing for greater communication," he added.

Additionally, the Ukrainian leader expressed his recognition to the representatives of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, and to the American leader himself, for "working to make peace our joint achievement."

In parallel to these diplomatic contacts, attacks with unmanned aerial vehicles by both sides have intensified in recent days, with almost 1,500 drones launched against areas under the control of the Kiev Government in recent days and 1,400 drones directed against the Russian capital, Moscow, during the past week.
