The campaign spokesperson for the PP and the Popular Group in Congress, Ester Muñoz, has questioned the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, about how he plans to extend his mandate for another four years and at what price, suggesting whether it will be through a referendum on independence or a consultation about the monarchy, given that, to maintain power in the last three years, according to what she has denounced, he has "had to give in on everything, even on amnesty".

"How are you going to stay in power for four more years? At what cost?", Muñoz posed at a party event held in Salamanca, where the national leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, and the president of the Junta, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, among other leaders, also spoke.

During her speech, the campaign spokesperson for the PP emphasized that citizens will have to choose in the upcoming elections between improving their future or "fixing Pedro Sánchez's judicial future".

In that line, she stressed that the 'popular' have prepared over the last three years for this appointment with the polls and reproached the PSOE for basing its message on "fear of the right, without presenting proposals".

The 'popular' leader has maintained that now the "fear has changed sides", considering that the social majority rejects another four years of Sánchez's government, and has criticized his management, which she has attributed to the loss of purchasing power of households, the difficulties of pensioners to make ends meet, and the policies applied to self-employed individuals, young people, and farmers.

She has also accused the head of the Executive of "frivolity and irresponsibility" and has questioned his response to various emergency situations.

In light of this assessment, Muñoz has presented Feijóo as a "reformist, serious, honest, and hardworking" alternative, with a project that, she said, "offers clarity to the Spaniards".

Among the lines of action that she attributes to the leader of the PP, she highlighted the commitment to remove from their responsibilities within 24 hours those she has labeled as "crooks", as well as to regulate immigration and condition the stay in Spain on respect for legality and contribution to the country.

On immigration matters, Muñoz has defended that those who arrive in Spain with a work contract should be able to stay, while she has demanded that those who come to commit crimes leave the national territory.

In the same way, it has bet on strengthening security in streets, towns, and cities and on implementing measures that allow recovering the weight of the middle classes.

The campaign spokesperson for the PP has also promised a turn in the relationship of the Government with self-employed workers and entrepreneurs, whom she has described as "essential" for the country.

In her opinion, these sectors have been treated as "enemies of Spain" during Sánchez's term, which is why she has demanded that they regain the support of the institutions.

On the institutional level, Muñoz has demanded the restoration of the independence of bodies such as the Constitutional Court, the Attorney General's Office, and the General Council of the Judiciary.

To this end, she has defended that "judges choose judges," one of the proposals she has attributed to Feijóo's political project.

"Blackmail and concessions" and doubts about the next legislature

In contrast, she has asked Sánchez if his offer for the next legislature involves keeping Spain without General State Budgets, increasing tax pressure, worsening the problems of the housing market, and prolonging the political agreements that she has described as "blackmail and concessions."

She has also questioned whether the president can guarantee another four years in office without new concessions to his parliamentary partners.

In this regard, Muñoz has maintained that Sánchez has already given up everything that was in his power, including the amnesty, and has insisted that the head of the Executive must clarify what new commitments he would be willing to assume to remain in Moncloa.

In this context, she has warned that a new legislature could be marked by "division, confrontation, and uncertainty," instead of by a shared project for the whole country.

The 'popular' leader has also accused the president of the Government of hiding his proposals and of evading explanations about his plans.

As an example of what she considers contradictions in his trajectory, she has questioned his statements on feminism, honesty, and dignity and has linked her criticisms to the management of his party, his Government, and his family environment.

In relation to the situation in Catalonia, Muñoz has reproached Sánchez for participating in an electoral event while, according to her words, the autonomous community was "burning."

It has also censored the dissemination of videos of the president in which, in its opinion, he tries to project an image foreign to the real problems affecting citizens.
