Podemos has decided to suspend its pre-campaign activities for the 29N elections during the three days of official mourning decreed by the railway accident that occurred in Ueta (Toledo), according to sources from the party told Europa Press.
As a result of this decision, the event scheduled for Saturday in Madrid, at which the purple party’s candidate for the elections, Irene Montero, and the lead candidate of ERC for Barcelona, Gabriel Rufián, were to speak, is canceled, an encounter that is now pending being set for a new date.
The suspension of the agenda will therefore be maintained until Sunday. This same morning, Montero conveyed her support and solidarity to the people affected by the accident.
