The co-spokesperson of Adelante Andalucía, Teresa Rodríguez, has censured the reaction of the central Government after the Urda (Toledo) rail accident, in which at least 69 people have died, for centering the explanation of the event on "the human factor" as the main cause of the accident.

"Is it possible that the government has leaked the audio recordings to try to shift all the focus to the "human factor"?" she pointed out this Thursday in a post on her official account on the social network 'X'.

In her message, Rodríguez expressed her "indignation" over the political handling of the case. "I don't care about the context and the disgusting role of the extreme right: this is lamentable, and I refuse for only fascism to be able to express the indignation we feel".

The words of the Andalusian leader come after Adelante spokesperson, José Ignacio García, called on Wednesday afternoon for the resignation of the Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente, in light of this accident.

"Óscar Puente must resign today. The blame cannot rest exclusively on a worker. And many people on the left think so too," he stated in a post on social media.

In that same message, García brought up the railway accident recorded in Adamuz (Córdoba), in which 46 people died last January. "Twice the Andalucía line in a year," he emphasized, alluding to the repetition of tragedies on the same rail connection.
