The PSOE has attacked the pact sealed between PP and Vox to coordinate their lists for the Senate, so that one of the two parties renounces to run in certain constituencies with the aim of optimizing the performance of their votes. The socialists have dubbed this understanding as "chainsaw alliance."
"PP and Vox are already one. Feijóo and Abascal coordinate their candidacies for the Senate and make public what was an open secret," they reproach from Ferraz in a statement, where they criticize that they transfer to the Upper House the agreements they already maintain in various regional executives. "Vox provides the ideas and the PP the ambition for power," they point out.
According to the PSOE, this "coalition of cuts" threatens retirement pensions, the increase of the minimum wage, the right to abortion, and dignified death, and also opens the door to "cultural censorship."
"Pensioners, women, workers, and cultural creators, among others, already know that they are on the blacklist of Feijóo and Abascal" and consider that it is "time to stop them" because, in their opinion, an Executive of PP and Vox would not mean an alternation after the eight years of Pedro Sánchez in La Moncloa, but rather a "regression" of several decades.
In this same line, the Secretary of Organization, Rebeca Torró, maintains that PP and Vox "are already indistinguishable" and form "the coalition of the chainsaw and cuts." "They share the same project of regression," she indicates in a message on her 'X' account, reported by Europa Press.
