The company Alkam Agroibérica, specialized in the design of customized and sustainable fertilizers, has signed a business incubation contract that will allow it to use a warehouse managed by Andalucía Emprende in Níjar (Almería) to carry out its activity.
The company works on specific formulas adapted to the characteristics of each area and bets on bio-stimulants and cutting-edge organic fertilizers, as the Junta has pointed out in a statement.
The territorial delegate of Economy, Finance and European Funds and of University, Industry, Energy and Innovation in Almería, Guillermo Casquet, visited the company's facilities this Tuesday, where the agreement has been materialized.
Before that, Casquet went to the Andalusian Center for Entrepreneurship (CADE) in San Isidro, along with the center's staff and the councilors of the Níjar City Council Ángeles Góngora and Manuel Herrero.
During the visit, the delegate was able to learn firsthand about the advisory, accompaniment, and support services for the consolidation of business projects that the center provides to entrepreneurs and companies in the municipality and that promote the economic development of the area.
Likewise, he conveyed to the staff the importance of supporting companies in their early stages and providing them with suitable spaces "to promote their growth and competitiveness."
In this regard, he highlighted the role of the CADE as a "tool to boost the local business fabric, contributing to job creation and the generation of new economic opportunities in municipalities with a marked entrepreneurial vocation like Níjar."
