The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development has launched a new call for aid aimed at the Fishermen's Brotherhoods, their federations, and other public entities for an amount of 15,000 euros. This amount is added to the credit increase of 30,000 euros published on July 31, linked to the support line for the improvement of marketing through promotional campaigns for fishery and aquaculture products, raising the overall budget of this line to 6,585,000 euros.
The new call, disseminated this Monday in the Official Bulletin of the Junta de Andalucía (BOJA), aims to fund aid to Fishermen's Brotherhoods, their federations, and other public entities to launch promotional campaigns for fishery and aquaculture products.
With this increase in funds, the allocation for financing promotional campaigns rises from 70,000 to 85,000 euros, which will allow for a response to all registered applications.
This call is part of the aid line for investments in marketing and transformation of fishery and aquaculture products aimed at individuals and private entities, whose budget was already reinforced on July 13 with an increase of 1.5 million euros, bringing it to almost 6.6 million euros, with the goal of continuing to enhance the competitiveness and added value of the sector.
After this new increase, the total budget of the line reaches 6.6 million euros, distributed in 85,000 euros for promotional campaigns, two million euros for investments in 2026, and 4.5 million for actions in 2027.
These aids, called under the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (Fempa) 2021-2027, aim to strengthen the competitiveness of the Andalusian fishing and aquaculture sector, promoting both the marketing of its products and investments aimed at optimizing their commercialization and transformation.
