The Bon Preu Group has launched the first phase of the works for its new logistics center in Montblanc (Tarragona), a project to which it will allocate 34.6 million euros, once the municipal construction license is obtained.
In this first phase, the future dry goods warehouse will be built, with an area of 26,500 square meters, along with the fresh goods warehouse, which will occupy 13,600 square meters, as the company detailed this Tuesday in a statement.
The forecast is that the new logistics center will begin operations during the first half of 2028 and become the "reference distribution platform" of the Bon Preu Group for the Camp de Tarragona, the Terres de l'Ebre, and Ponent.
