The spokesperson of the Popular Parliamentary Group in the Cortes of Castilla y León, Leticia García, has stated that the call for general elections on the next November 29 will imply "one more defeat for sanchismo" and that it will be the "definitive" one with a "no" to the PSOE. At the same time, she emphasized that, in her opinion, "it was about time that they were called" after "eight years of sanchismo" to return the "voice" to the people of Castilla and León.

García has highlighted that now it is time to defend at the state level the model supported in the Community on March 15, 2026, in the regional elections, in which the leadership of Alfonso Fernández Mañueco was endorsed. That project, she indicated, represents "management, doing well, caring for people, institutional respect," principles that, she said, the Popular Party will also embody at the national level and Alberto Núñez Feijóo with "respect," "the value of the work of Spaniards," and "a country project."

The Popular leader has insisted that this model implies "tearing down the wall that 'sanchismo' has built in these years in Spain" and has anticipated that the people of Castilla and León will express themselves at the polls and respond to the actions of the PSOE of Castilla and León during this period, with its general secretary, Carlos Martínez, at the forefront.

In this line, García has reproached that the socialist formation in the Community has chosen to "silence" and "allow that discrimination" and "that unequal treatment of Castilla and León." Likewise, she has criticized that Martínez has remained silent in the face of attacks on the autonomous community and "has even defended a corrupt government."

Finally, the spokesperson of the PP has assured that the PSOE of Castilla and León will receive the response at the polls on November 29, a day on which, she has predicted, voters will express "once again a no to sanchismo and no to this socialist party that Carlos Martínez also defends."
