The Fiestas de San Lorenzo 2026 end today, Tuesday, August 11, in Madrid. After four days of festivities, concerts, and activities in the streets of Lavapiés, the celebration faces its last day with live music and proposals for different audiences.

The Arturo Barea square is once again the epicenter of the Fiestas de San Lorenzo. There, the main performances of the night will be concentrated, starting at 8:00 PM and lasting until 1:00 AM.

The main concert will be by Lotus, scheduled for 9:30 PM, although the programming starts earlier. From 7:00 PM there will be activities on Doctor Fourquet street, and Manuel de Segura will open the musical night at Arturo Barea at 8:00 PM.

Program of the Fiestas de San Lorenzo today, Tuesday, August 11

The programming of the Fiestas de San Lorenzo today in Madrid starts at 7:00 PM and features different stages in Lavapiés and the center of the capital.

From 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM there will be popular games, comic reading, and crafts on Doctor Fourquet street, 24. The proposal allows starting the last afternoon of San Lorenzo with activities before the music takes over Arturo Barea square.

At 8:00 PM "Copla Castiza" by Manuel de Segura will begin in Arturo Barea. At 9:30 PM the concert by Lotus will arrive, and later, DJ Pakito will close the musical programming between 11:00 PM and 1:00 AM.

Manuel de Segura opens the last night with "Copla Castiza"

The main programming in the Arturo Barea square begins at 8:00 PM with Manuel de Segura and his show "Copla Castiza".

The performance maintains the traditional component that characterizes the Madrid festivities and that during San Cayetano, San Lorenzo, and La Paloma coexists with concerts by current groups, DJ sessions, and activities organized by neighborhood associations.

It will be the first musical performance of a night that will later have Lotus as the main protagonist and will end with two hours of music by DJ Pakito.

Lotus performs today for free at the Fiestas de San Lorenzo

At 9:30 PM the performance of Lotus is scheduled in the Arturo Barea square, the main concert of this Tuesday, August 11, within the official program of the Fiestas de San Lorenzo.

The concert is free and continues the musical programming that has occupied this space over the last few days. Arturo Barea has functioned as one of the major stages of the festivities since the beginning of San Lorenzo last Saturday.

The performance of Lotus in Madrid today will also be the last major live performance of the San Lorenzo 2026 Festivities before the night closes and the subsequent start of the La Paloma celebrations.

DJ Pakito closes San Lorenzo until one in the morning

The music will not end when the Lotus concert concludes. At 11:00 PM the DJ Pakito session will begin, which will remain in Arturo Barea until 1:00 AM.

He will be in charge of putting an end to the musical programming and the San Lorenzo 2026 Festivities, held in Lavapiés between Saturday the 8th and this Tuesday the 11th of August.

The schedule maintains the scheme of the last days. On Monday, for example, DJ Madent took over after the performance of Metroolé and also stayed in Arturo Barea until one in the morning.

Games, comics, and crafts from 7:00 PM

The last day of San Lorenzo is not limited to concerts. Between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM, Doctor Fourquet street, 24, will host popular games, comic reading, and crafts.

This complementary programming expands the options for those who want to approach Lavapiés during the San Lorenzo Festivities before the musical performances begin.

Afterwards, it will be possible to move to Arturo Barea to continue with the fair, as the performance of Manuel de Segura is scheduled for 8:00 PM and Lotus will start at 9:30 PM.

Chotis Virgen de la Paloma Contest

The day also includes an activity that practically serves as a bridge between the San Lorenzo Festivities and the La Paloma Festivities. Between 9:00 PM and 10:30 PM, the VII Chotis Virgen de la Paloma Contest will be held.

The contest will take place in the plaza de la Virgen de la Paloma and will recover one of the dances most linked to the fairs and traditional celebrations of Madrid.

The activity partially coincides with the programming of Arturo Barea. Those who want to attend the contest should keep in mind that Lotus begins its concert at 9:30 PM in Lavapiés.

Where the San Lorenzo Festivities are held in Madrid

The San Lorenzo Festivities are mainly linked to the Lavapiés neighborhood, where Arturo Barea square has become one of the main stages of the celebration during these days.

The Metro station of Lavapiés, corresponding to line 3, allows you to reach Arturo Barea and a good part of the streets where the activities of the fair take place in just a few minutes on foot.

The station of La Latina, corresponding to line 5, can also be used, especially for those who want to move later to the area around the square of the Virgen de la Paloma.

San Lorenzo ends today and La Paloma starts on Thursday

The Fiestas de San Lorenzo 2026 say goodbye this Tuesday, August 11, but the calendar of fairs in Madrid still has one of its most important celebrations ahead.

After San Cayetano, celebrated from August 4 to 7, and San Lorenzo, from August 8 to 11, the Fiestas de la Virgen de la Paloma will begin on Thursday, August 13, and will last until Sunday, August 16.

Saturday, August 15, will be the central day of La Paloma, coinciding with the feast of the Virgen and its traditional procession. In this way, Lavapiés, La Latina, and Las Vistillas will continue to be one of the major focal points of the August festivities in Madrid over the next few days.
