The Deputy Secretary General of Institutional Regeneration of the PP, Cuca Gamarra, has demanded ahead of the upcoming elections an Executive "that restores decency" and that attends to territories like Soria, which "for eight years have suffered the abandonment of 'sanchismo' with the complicity of the PSOE of Castilla y León."
In the same vein, she insisted that it is the citizens of the province themselves who can "put an end" to it in the elections on November 29, which she has described as "the most significant of democracy." Gamarra traveled this Monday afternoon to the Provincial Headquarters of the Popular Party to participate in the Campaign Committee, accompanied by the candidates for Congress and the Senate, Tomás Cabezón and Benito Serrano, respectively, and also to hold a meeting with prison officials.
During her speech, she described these elections as "elections in the key of decency, because it is indecent that taxpayers' money has gone into the pockets of socialists when today the number two and minister who has been sentenced to 24 years in prison is sleeping in jail," referring to Ábalos.
She reiterated that Sánchez's Executive "has practiced indecency and corruption," for which, in her opinion, Spanish society deserves "a Government of honest, decent, and clean people, who care about the people of Soria."
Gamarra emphasized that those who have benefited in this stage have been "the partners," while "the difficulties for the rest are worsening." "For Bildu or the independents, there has been constant attention but not for the people of Soria, who have seen that differentiated funding has been left in a drawer," affirmed the 'popular' leader, who assured that with a PP Executive that taxation "will be a reality."
In this context, she criticized that while public money goes "in bribes or prostitutes," Soria has been "a year and a half without a train," which she considers "abandonment of a province that continues to pay its taxes." She defended that the PP arrives "hungry for change" and highlighted that the candidates from Soria "have proven their track record as they have always defended Soria above all."
Commitments with prison officials
Regarding the meeting with prison officials, Gamarra has recalled that her training committed to them being recognized as Agents of Authority because "they were being disrespected and felt unprotected in prisons." "We know that there are many pending tasks, but just as we have done with them, we will continue working to solve the problems of a specific group," she concluded.
For his part, the head of the list for Congress for the PP, Tomás Cabezón, has praised Gamarra as a colleague who is always available when needed, "a friend of the PP of Soria who has always collaborated in bringing initiatives that have been demanded in parliament."
In relation to the Sorian candidacy, he emphasized that they are "all in, for everything and with everyone" because their priority is "the Sorians" and, therefore, they will focus on listening to the demands of the towns and different groups to integrate them into their electoral program.
The president of the PP of Soria, Benito Serrano, has referred to the presentation of candidates in Salamanca, where the national president, Feijóo, emphasized that they were prepared "with great teams" to reverse the results and demanded "commitment, responsibility, and decency" from them. "What we are going to do is explain the PP's project, which we have the best project, the best and the only one that can bring about change. Also in Soria," Serrano has specified.
