The coordinator of MÉS per Mallorca, Lluís Apesteguia, has positively assessed the agreement reached for Podemos to integrate into the coalition Ara Més-Front Ampli, emphasizing that this step strengthens the political space they share in the Balearic Islands.

Apesteguia has contrasted "the discretion and trust" with which, as he explained, this process of conversations has been carried out, against the way similar negotiations have developed in other parts of Spain.

"At all times we defended that a joint candidacy of the sovereignist and alternative left was necessary. It has been our bet, we have worked discreetly and that has been differential within the way of negotiating that we have seen in the rest of the State, which we do not consider to be the appropriate one," he said.

The leader of MÉS has insisted that this method of internal and reserved work has been key to closing the pact with Podemos in the archipelago, avoiding public tensions like those that, in his opinion, have occurred in other territories of the State.
