The Minister of Territorial Policy and 'single command' of the Government in Ceuta, Ángel Víctor Torres, has reproached the autonomous Executive presided over by Juan Vivas for putting "sticks in the wheel" in the operation deployed a week ago for the transfer of migrants who entered massively to the port of the autonomous city.
These statements were made during the session of control to the Government in Congress, after the PP deputy Borja Sémper questioned him about the current situation of the autonomous city, accusing Minister Torres of wanting to "turn" Ceuta into a "large camp" and also questioning him about his competencies as the person responsible for the 'single command'.
Torres has reiterated that "all people will be returned according to the law" and has warned that "it is irresponsible to say that everyone can be returned because, as Mr. Feijóo knows, it is not possible."
In relation to his functions as 'single command', the head of Territorial Policy has defended his management, emphasizing that 6,000 places have been enabled "to be able to file" adult migrants so that they can be "returned as soon as possible."
In this context, Torres has highlighted the Government's action "with loyalty" towards Ceuta, recalling that the spaces were agreed upon, including the transfer device to the port, "which turns out that the Board of Directors votes against. "Despite that stick in the wheels, those people are at the port," he emphasized.
Additionally, in this same Plenary, Torres had to answer another question posed by the 'popular' deputy Jaime de Olano about the alleged corruption within the Government, to which the minister responded by claiming the management and work of Pedro Sánchez's Executive.
