TerraMaster today announces the official launch of its TOS developer platform and the corresponding Application Publication Reward Program. The company invites independent developers, open-source project maintainers, homelab enthusiasts, and self-hosting advocates from around the world to bring their existing applications into the TerraMaster NAS ecosystem and reach users worldwide
Through the TOS Developer Platform, developers can package and adapt their existing projects without needing to create new software from scratch. Once approved, applications can be published in the global TOS App Center, giving them distribution and visibility opportunities among TerraMaster NAS users around the world.
Simple development and streamlined application publishing
The platform offers comprehensive development documentation and ready-to-use packaging templates for Debian (.deb) and Docker. It supports autonomous online request submission, automated validation, review status tracking, and API access, allowing developers to integrate the submission process into their existing CI/CD publication workflows. To register, only a valid email address is needed; no real identity verification or TerraMaster physical NAS device is required. Development and testing can be carried out on a virtual machine with Ubuntu 22.04.
Developers retain 100% of donations
Developers can configure their own HTTPS donation links on their application detail pages. TerraMaster does not charge commissions on donations or manage the funds received. All donations made through the developers' own links are transferred directly to them, offering them more opportunities to receive support from their users.
Application Publication Reward Program now open
Publish applications in the TOS App Center before April 30, 2027 to receive a reward for each qualifying application, with an amount of up to 30 USD per application. The more eligible applications you publish, the more rewards you can get.
The eligibility and distribution of the rewards are subject to the official rules of the program. TerraMaster reserves the right to make the final decisions on eligibility and the awarding of the rewards.
