Bank of America has announced the launch of the Critical Infrastructure Financing Initiative, a program with which it plans to mobilize and channel 250 billion dollars (216.613 billion euros) by July 4, 2027. The objective is to support the development of infrastructure in the United States through financing operations, specific investments, and specialized advisory services.

With this plan, with which the entity commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States, the bank aims to address three major areas of action: digital infrastructure, energy infrastructure, and basic infrastructure.

"This initiative reflects our confidence in the future of the country and in the investments that will shape it," said Jim DeMare, co-president of Bank of America.

"The infrastructure that drives our economy, strengthens our energy security, and guarantees our technological leadership will drive growth, create jobs, and define the next chapter of the United States," he added.
