The authorities of Venezuela have updated this Monday the balance of fatal victims from the double earthquake of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 registered on June 24 in the north of the country, and they now place the figure at more than 6,300 deceased.

The president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, has detailed in a new report disseminated through social networks that "6,301 people have died as a result of the strong earthquakes."

Likewise, the brother of the acting president, Delcy Rodríguez, has estimated that "73,356 people have received hospital care," while he has indicated that "the number of rescued remains at 6,462."
