GreenYellow has completed the purchase of 100% of Getting Greener, in a transaction that integrates its assets, its workforce, and its commercial portfolio, according to the company.

With this transaction, the multinational strengthens its positioning in the Spanish market and accelerates its capacity to design and launch decarbonization projects aimed at industrial clients, as well as large groups in the tertiary and distribution sectors.

In this way, the new resulting platform will make it possible to offer a broader and more specialized proposal to industrial and corporate companies that are advancing in their decarbonization strategies.

In particular, Getting Greener contributes its access to clients and its commercial network, while GreenYellow brings its 20 years of experience and more than 2.300 billion euros allocated to energy decarbonization infrastructure, in addition to its technical capacity and the resources necessary to carry out projects from start to finish.

The joint proposal includes energy efficiency solutions, heat electrification projects, energy storage systems with electric and thermal batteries, energy flexibility services and self-consumption in the industrial sector.

The founders of Getting Greener, Mariola Pina and Fernando Redondo, will maintain their current positions as president and vice president, respectively, and will join GreenYellow as "senior advisors".

The transaction is part of GreenYellow's growth plan in Spain, which contemplates exceeding 100 million euros of investment in the country by the end of this fiscal year, and adds to the agreement reached in 2024 with Enhol to allocate 200 million euros to energy projects in Spain between 2024 and 2028. This investment capacity is backed by the investment firm Ardian.
