Iberia has launched a new campaign aimed at Iberia Club members that allows them to use their Avios to pay for their plane tickets, either totally or partially, with reductions of up to 20% on a series of routes both national and international.
Thanks to the Avios, the loyalty program and the "virtual currency" used by several airlines of the IAG group, frequent travelers of the company will be able to be rewarded and benefit from these special discounts.
The offer will be operational from today until September 23, 2026, through the Iberia website and its customer service, and will apply to flights departing between September 17, 2026, and March 18, 2027, excluding the period between December 18, 2026, and January 12, 2027.
The maximum discount of 20% extends to international routes in Economy class to destinations such as New York, Boston, Washington, Buenos Aires, and Doha, as well as to San José de Costa Rica in Premium Economy. In the case of European routes such as Rome, Venice, London, and Faro, the reduction applies to both Business and Economy. Within Spanish territory, it reaches cities such as Bilbao, Seville, Santiago de Compostela, and Granada, among others.
Additionally, the airline anticipates a 15% reduction for flying in Economy to Miami, Los Angeles, Mexico, or Lima, and to European locations such as Amsterdam, Prague, Athens, or Vienna. The 10% discount covers routes such as Bogotá, Rio de Janeiro, or Quito in Economy, as well as Business flights to destinations like Chicago, Mexico, or San Juan de Puerto Rico, and short-haul connections like Paris, Berlin, or Stockholm.
This promotional action linked to the Avios coincides with the last days of the general fare campaign that the company launched at the end of August and that will also conclude on September 23.
This commercial offer allows the purchase of tickets per journey from 24 euros for domestic flights, from 29 euros to Europe, from 170 euros to the United States, and from 258 euros to Latin America, in addition to including flight plus hotel or car packages with discounts of up to 300 euros.
