Indra will not change the scheduled date to announce its new strategic plan, set for November 25, despite the proximity of the general elections, which will take place just four days later, on the 29th. This is indicated to Europa Press by sources familiar with the situation, who confirm that the company is moving forward with the established timeline.
According to these same sources, no alterations are contemplated in the roadmap of the plan, although the presence of authorities and public officials at some corporate events of the company could vary.
On that November 25, the "Capital Markets Day" will be held, the day on which the company will detail its new strategic plan to analysts and investors. It is expected that the president of Indra, Ángel Simón, and the CEO, Josep María Recasens, along with other executives, will participate. It will also be the first plan designed under the Simón-Recasens tandem at the helm of the technology company.
An strategic plan with several previous delays
The presentation of this new roadmap is not new on Indra's agenda: it had already been postponed several times. In mid-April, with the newly appointed president and José Vicente de los Mozos still as the first executive, the company decided to move the publication of the plan to the end of summer.
At that time, De los Mozos emphasized that updating the plan and specifying its second phase was one of the two "priorities" for the fiscal year 2026. "We made the strategic plan 'Leading the Future' under the mandate of Marc Murtra, then, we continued with the stage of Ángel Escribano, who promoted it, and now we start this new stage with Ángel Simón, who also supports this strategic plan," De los Mozos explained then.
Three months later, during the "conference call" held on the occasion of the presentation of the results for the first half of the year, and with Josep Maria Recasens newly incorporated as CEO, this executive requested "a little patience" from the defense sector before unveiling the new strategic plan, which will define the next roadmap of the firm.
In that same intervention, he advanced that the company's intention was to make the plan public by the end of this year. "I would like to ask you for a little patience, as I have been with the company for about 15 days and I am trying to catch up with everything as soon as possible, because I believe I need to understand the situation in order to be able to confirm with certainty when that capital markets day will take place, which we hope will be as soon as possible," stated the executive in July.
