Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) recorded a net profit of 513.76 million dollars (460 million euros) in the third quarter of 2026, representing a drop of 13.77% compared with the 595.81 million dollars (533.4 million euros) earned in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

NCLH’s total revenue between July and September 2026 stood at 2,946.76 million dollars (2,638 million euros), a figure that was practically stable, although slightly higher, than the 2,938.14 million dollars (2,630 million euros) recorded in the third quarter of 2025.

In terms of adjusted Ebitda, the cruise company reached 936.77 million dollars (838.6 million euros) in the third quarter of 2026, which implies a decline of 8% from the 1,019.2 million dollars (912.2 million euros) of the previous year.

Looking ahead to the close of fiscal year 2026, the company expects an adjusted net profit of around 789 million dollars (706 million euros), while its adjusted Ebitda estimate is around 2,550 million dollars (2,283 million euros).

The shipping company emphasizes that the third-quarter results exceeded internal forecasts, with occupancy of 106.5%, clearly above the estimated 104%. In addition, the variation in net yield performed better than expected, moving from a forecast of -8.9% to an actual -6.7%.

NCLH has identified more than 600 million dollars (552 million euros) in recurring savings through efficiency measures and anticipates robust demand in the short term, with prices for 2027 above those of 2026.

The company maintains an active investment policy, with gross capital expenditure on new ships and growth projects of around 2,900 million dollars (2,596 million euros) through the end of 2026, and 3,100 million dollars (2,775 million euros) for 2027.

For 2028, the forecast is that the normalized capital expenditure level will decrease and stabilize at around 1,800 million dollars (1,611 million euros).

At present, NCLH operates a fleet of 33 ships and has another 16 in its order book, including the delivery of the Seven Seas Prestige in the fourth quarter of 2026, for which it has already achieved record-high bookings.

The company also trusts in an improvement in cash flow starting in 2028. The incorporation of the Norwegian Luna in March 2026 and the arrival of a new vessel this same year are part of its strategy of controlled expansion, aimed at strengthening growth and increasing returns for shareholders.
