Service circulation on the R4 line of Rodalies has been restored this Friday at 17.00 hours between the stations of Gelida and Sant Sadurní (Barcelona), after the service interruption caused by the fire of a freight train, according to what Civil Protection reported in a note on "X" collected by Europa Press.
The incident was caused around midday and, at the time of the fire, the locomotive was not carrying any load classified as dangerous goods.
During the time that the disruption lasted, Rodalies has stated that 2 trains per hour and direction were maintained on the section between Manresa and Martorell to guarantee passenger mobility.
