The Spanish Association of Defense, Security, Aeronautics and Space Technology Companies (Tedae) reported this Wednesday, through a statement, that it has reached 150 members, which represents an increase of 50% compared with two years ago.
According to the organization, this progress "reflects its ability to attract and reinforces its representativeness as a benchmark voice of these industrial sectors that drive innovation, competitiveness and Spain's strategic autonomy".
In the same note, Tedae underscores that "this growth reflects the strength of an evolving, highly specialized business fabric with a strategic contribution to Spain's technological, industrial and economic development".
The association brings together companies with very diverse profiles, from large groups and midcaps to SMEs and highly innovative firms, which add complementary capabilities לאורך the entire value chain.
In this way, the entity states that it "consolidates an increasingly broad representativeness of the ecosystem linked to Defense, Security, Aeronautics and Space".
With a presence in all the autonomous communities and in several consolidated industrial hubs, Tedae currently speaks for a productive fabric that in 2025 generated close to 290,000 jobs, contributed 24.425 billion euros to GDP and reached exports of 10.821 billion, double that of four years earlier.
The president of Tedae, Alberto Gutiérrez, has highlighted that "reaching 150 members is a source of pride and a sign that these industries have confidence in what Tedae represents and the role it plays".
Likewise, he has stressed that "Tedae is today the meeting point of a varied ecosystem, but with a common objective: to contribute to strengthening the industrial and technological capabilities of Spain and Europe", and has emphasized that growing with the members "reinforces its capacity for dialogue and its commitment to defending the interests of an industry essential for the security, innovation and prosperity of the country".
