The European Commission has given this Thursday its approval to the joint control of the new aeronautical group Boost Air by Hyperion Fund --a venture capital fund focused on defense and aerospace among whose founders is the former PP leader Pablo Casado-- and Corporación Financiera Azuaga, after determining that the operation will not have negative effects in the European economic area.

According to the institution itself in a statement, the Community Executive rules out risks to competition in the notified transaction, considering that, once completed, the companies will maintain a limited presence in the market.

The file was sent to Brussels on October 6 and has been analyzed through the simplified procedure reserved for concentrations considered less problematic.
