The total volume of seats scheduled on international flights to Spain for the month of September will be around 13.1 million, which represents an increase of 7.4% compared to the same month in 2025, according to figures from Turespaña released this Thursday by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism.
If the main issuing markets are analyzed and the forecasts are contrasted with the actual data from September 2025, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, and Germany anticipate a favorable evolution for next month, with increases in seat supply of 8.7%, 13.2%, 3.4%, and 0.4%, respectively.
The department has emphasized, "one more month," the "notable" acceleration of Poland, which maintains a growth projection of over 30%, and of Turkey, which again shows a positive year-on-year variation of 19.3%.
In contrast, the United States moderates the pace of increase in its seat capacity for September, which is limited to 0.3%.
In the realm of Ibero-American countries, Mexico and Colombia concentrate the largest number of seats planned for September: the Mexican market records an increase of 11.6%, while the Colombian market shows a slight decline of 0.9%.
