Thousands of people have gathered this Friday at 10:00 PM at the intersection of Atocha Street and Puerta del Sol, from where they have started a nighttime march towards Plaza de Cibeles to denounce the housing crisis, in a mobilization called by the Coordinadora Juvenil Socialista (CJS).

Under the slogan "Let's end rentism, let's point out all the guilty," a crowd has advanced along Alcalá Street in what they have dubbed a "nighttime demand for housing," carrying banners with messages such as "The working youth against the housing business."

Part of the thousands of people camped at Puerta del Sol has focused on the "class struggle" and the defense of "housing for workers," launching direct criticisms against "the rentiers" and the "progressive Government," which they accuse of being "hypocritical and rentist."

In statements to Europa Press, the CSJ emphasizes that the great challenge is to "develop a broader discourse" and take the protests "beyond the camp" and the "housing struggle" --although they acknowledge that it represents "the main economic burden"-- since "there are other issues" inherent to the "capitalist system" that push "the working class" into "misery."
