The Nursing Technicians Union (SAE) maintains that the health reinforcements sent by the Ministry of Health in response to the migratory crisis in Ceuta are insufficient. Therefore, it demands a "real" and "firm" commitment that ensures the necessary resources for professionals to continue attending to the Ceuta population without endangering their physical health or emotional stability.
"From SAE we hope that they start to take the situation seriously and support this commendable common effort with the resources that are needed. Likewise, we want to deeply thank the tireless work and unity that all our colleagues from the hospital and health centers are demonstrating to safeguard quality assistance," highlighted the regional leaders of SAE Ceuta, Mª Dolores Domínguez and Rosa de la Borbolla.
In this scenario, SAE wanted to emphasize the "admirable work" that health professionals in Ceuta are carrying out, both in the University Hospital and in the various Primary Care centers.
"Beyond their individual responsibilities, we are witnessing an exemplary union among all professionals -healthcare and non-healthcare-, who, working side by side, are demonstrating an exceptional capacity for commitment to carry out the work and resolve, in the best possible way, this difficult moment," conclude the union.
