The spokesperson for Vox in the Parlament, Manuela Cañadas, has urged the citizens to "avoid voting by mail" with the aim of preventing the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, from carrying out "any trick" in the general elections set for next November 29.
Cañadas made these statements this Monday, a few hours after the announcement of the electoral advance, during the press conference prior to the plenary session of the Parlament scheduled for Tuesday.
In her speech, she emphasized that, in her opinion, "these elections will not be just any elections, we are facing a psychopathic character capable of doing anything to stay in power. He has no limits or scruples and we must be prepared for any scenario."
The leader of Vox in the Balearic Islands insisted that Sánchez, whom she described as "the Moroccan candidate in Spain," will try to resort to "any trick" in order to remain in La Moncloa.
For this reason, she stressed that "we expect the worst and that is why it is essential that these elections are free and transparent. We ask all citizens to vote in person, to avoid voting by mail whenever possible."
Additionally, she urged voters to distrust polls and to participate massively in the elections, reminding that in her party they "do not" give credibility to surveys. "We cannot forget what happened three years ago, we should not sell the bear's skin before hunting it," she pointed out.
When asked about the configuration of the lists, Cañadas did not want to advance names or positions. She emphasized that "the only candidate is Abascal. In the Balearic Islands, I do not know, whoever the national leadership decides will be the best candidate and we will be happy to support him in these campaign months," she concluded.
