At least one Palestinian has lost his life and several more have been injured after a bombing carried out this Wednesday by the Israeli Army against a displaced persons' tent located in the south of the Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire agreed in October 2025 to implement the United States' proposal regarding the future of the enclave.
Local sources consulted by the Palestinian newspaper "Filastin" have indicated that the attack struck a tent where several displaced persons were located to the west of the city of Khan Younis, while the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have not yet provided any official version of what happened.
The Gazan authorities, under the control of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), have denounced this Wednesday that more than 1,300 Palestinians have died in attacks by Israeli troops since the aforementioned ceasefire agreement came into effect.
Furthermore, they have emphasized that, since the beginning of the offensive launched by Israel following the attacks of October 7, 2023 -- which left about 1,200 dead and nearly 250 kidnapped, according to the official balance -- 73,438 deaths and 174,447 injuries have been recorded, while they have insisted that there are still bodies under the rubble and in areas controlled by Israel.
