At least two Palestinians have lost their lives and dozens more have been injured in the Gaza Strip and in the West Bank during a new day of violence attributed to Israeli forces and settlers in Palestinian territories, according to the news agency Wafa.
In the south of the Strip, a Palestinian civilian has died and nine other people, including several minors, have suffered injuries of varying severity after an Israeli army drone attacked a group of people gathered in the town of Mawasi, in the governorate of Rafah, near Khan Yunis.
In the city of Gaza, another Palestinian has died due to injuries sustained on Thursday during an Israeli attack against a group of citizens in the Al Daraj neighborhood.
Additionally, several people have been injured after a bombing in the west of Beit Lahia, in the north of the enclave. In the central area of the Strip, one person has been hit by gunfire from Israeli military vehicles near the Al Magazi camp.
The escalation of violence has also spread to the West Bank, where two residents of the town of Al Mughayir, in the northeast of Ramallah, have suffered fractures and bruises after being assaulted by settlers on the road that connects Ramallah with Jericho.
According to WAFA, several settlers have opened fire on people who were at a farm located east of that town, as part of an attempt to repel another attack against a poultry farm in the area.
