At least five Palestinians have lost their lives and several more have been injured this Tuesday in an attack by the Israeli Army near a school run by the United Nations in Jabalia, in the north of the Gaza Strip, despite the currently in force ceasefire.
Medical sources cited by the news agency Sanad and the newspaper 'Filastin', linked to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), have indicated that five people have died as a result of a bombing carried out by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), which has also caused "numerous" injuries, while the Israeli forces have not yet commented on the matter.
The attack has been recorded in the vicinity of the Abu Hussein school, a primary education center managed by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), located within the Jabalia displaced persons camp.
This incident is joined by gunfire carried out by Israeli forces against an area of tents housing displaced persons near Rafah, in the south of the Gaza Strip, which has so far caused several gunshot injuries, including a ten-year-old minor.
During the course of this Tuesday, the Gaza Civil Defense has also recovered the lifeless bodies of 20 people in the Zeitoun neighborhood, in the city of Gaza, mostly belonging to the Salmi and Al Haddad families, who would have died in previous bombings by Israel.
According to Gazan authorities, nearly 1,300 Palestinians have died in the enclave at the hands of the Israeli Army since the ceasefire agreed in October 2025 came into effect.
