At least three Palestinians, including a minor, have lost their lives and several more have been injured in recent hours following a series of bombings and shootings carried out by the Israeli Army against tents of displaced persons in the city of Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip. The attacks have occurred despite the ceasefire agreement sealed in October 2025 following the proposal of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, regarding the future of the territory.

Local sources cited by the Palestinian newspaper "Filastin" have explained that a 21-year-old young man, identified as Husam Fajri Muhamad al Zamili, has died after being shot in the chest during a military incursion in the south of the city.

In addition, a drone attack against another camp of displaced persons in the southwest area has caused the death of Tamer abú Sneima, 24 years old, and the child Juri Islam al Sufi, and has also left several injured from bullet impacts inside the tents themselves.

The military operations have also extended to other areas of the Palestinian enclave, with heavy artillery bombardments to the east and northwest of Khan Yunis. In the city of Gaza, Israeli drones have dropped incendiary bombs on displaced persons in the Shujaiya neighborhood, while in the center of the Strip, incursions of heavy military vehicles have been recorded north of the Al Bureij refugee camp and east of Deir al Balá.

The Gaza Health Ministry has indicated that in the last 24 hours, eight deaths and 35 injuries have been recorded, bringing the total since the ceasefire came into effect to 1,559 deceased and 5,608 injured. Likewise, 845 bodies have been recovered in the areas of Gaza from which Israeli troops withdrew following the aforementioned agreement.

The Ministry itself has stated in a statement disseminated on social media that, since the beginning of the Israeli offensive launched after the attacks of October 7, 2023 --which left about 1,200 dead and nearly 250 kidnapped, according to the official balance of the Israeli authorities--, 74,555 dead and 175,727 injured have been recorded in the Strip.

On the other hand, the Israeli Army has communicated this Monday the death of two presumed members of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in separate bombings carried out last week against the Strip. One of them has been identified as Muhamad Halaua, whom they describe as "commander of the Military Intelligence unit" of the group's armed wing, the Ezeldín al Qasam Brigades.

The second deceased has been identified as Ahmed Zuhair Fuad abú Uda, "engineering commander of the military wing of Hamas," according to the Army itself, which has stated that both "promoted terrorist plans against the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the citizens of the State of Israel" and "worked to restore Hamas's capabilities, systematically violating the ceasefire."
