The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has attributed to a "alliance between the left and radical Islam" the attempt to "destroy" several European countries, explicitly citing France, Italy, and Spain.
In his statements, Netanyahu has reiterated his criticisms of the Israeli opposition, which he accuses of promoting cooperation between the left and Islam. "What does a leftist government with radical Islam mean? It is what is called in the world a red-green union," he explained.
According to the Israeli leader, "this union destroys large countries. It destroys France, you can see it. It destroys Israel. It destroys Italy. It destroys Spain and will probably destroy other countries," he argued, insisting on the global scope of this supposed alliance.
Netanyahu also added that this coalition also "tries to destroy the United States" and "could lead to the destruction of Israel," thus emphasizing the risk that, in his opinion, it represents for Western democracies.
