The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that it is finalizing a new series of "massive attacks" against Ukraine's energy infrastructure, as retaliation for "Kiev's attacks on Russia's civil and energy infrastructure."
"In accordance with the instructions received, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have begun preparations to launch massive attacks against Ukrainian energy facilities in response to the ongoing attacks by the Kiev regime against the civil infrastructure and the energy and fuel complex of Russia," the Russian Ministry of Defense announced.
The warning has been disseminated following a Ukrainian drone attack in the Leningrad region that struck an oil refinery located in the city of Kirishi, in addition to another bombing against an energy facility and an administrative building in the Kursk region.
Meanwhile, Moscow has indicated that, during the past night, its forces have struck a fiber cement products factory in Kiev, whose warehouses were used to "store explosives for the scientific, technical, and engineering company Smart Ammunition LLC, which produces unmanned aerial vehicles and ammunition," the Ministry of Defense detailed.
