The authorities of the Gaza Strip, under the control of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), have raised this Monday to 1,460 the number of Palestinians deceased due to the attacks carried out by Israel against the enclave since the entry into force in October of the ceasefire linked to the agreement to implement the United States proposal on the future of this coastal territory.

In a statement disseminated on social media, the Ministry of Health of Gaza has detailed that since October 11, 2025, 1,460 deaths and 5,116 injuries have been recorded due to Israeli operations, among them five deceased and 26 injured registered in the last 24 hours.

The balance also includes 836 bodies recovered in areas of the Gaza Strip from which Israeli forces withdrew after the implementation of the aforementioned agreement. Currently, the troops remain deployed in the so-called "yellow line," which extends over more than half of the surface of the enclave.

Likewise, health authorities have reminded that, since the beginning of the Israeli offensive after the attacks of October 7, 2023 — which caused about 1,200 deaths and nearly 250 kidnapped, according to the official count of Israel — the total number of victims in the Strip amounts to 74,243 dead and 175,232 injured.

In parallel, the Israel Defense Forces have reported the death of an alleged commander of the Nujba special forces of Hamas in a bombing carried out over the weekend against the Nuseirat area, in the center of the Strip. The deceased has been identified as Ibrahim Mustafá Suleiman abú Omar, whom military authorities accuse of "invading the territory of Israel" during the 7-O attacks.
