The Polish Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, announced this Tuesday that Poland will be the setting, in the autumn, for the first military maneuvers of the coalition of countries supporting Ukraine. This decision comes after the agreement reached within this group during the meeting convened in Paris this Monday by the French President, Emmanuel Macron.

"The first maneuvers in which French and British troops will participate will take place in Poland in the autumn of this year," stated the Polish leader in statements to the press from France, where he participated in the military parade for the French national holiday. "These will be maneuvers that will prepare the entire coalition gathered in Paris to offer real security guarantees to Ukraine, but also to the region," he pointed out.

Tusk framed this move within the increase in Russian attacks on Ukrainian territory and in "the latest statements" by Russian President Vladimir Putin, "full of threats" against the neighboring country.

"The escalation that I have been talking about for some time by Russia remains possible and, therefore, with great satisfaction we have made this definitive decision that Poland will host not only American soldiers, but also British and French ones," he reported.

The leaders of the coalition of volunteers in support of Kyiv agreed that the international forces that will form the future Multinational Force, conceived to operate in a potential post-war scenario, will develop military exercises "in the coming months."

The coalition meeting on French territory brought together several European leaders with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in a meeting where attendees expressed their "approval" of US President Donald Trump's support for security guarantees for Ukraine during the recent NATO summit in Ankara.

In the joint declaration, the participants reiterated their support for direct dialogue between the parties, the establishment of a ceasefire on the current line of contact, and the continuation of "constructive" negotiations, provided they are based on the principles that "there is no peace without Ukraine" and that "no agreement can be negotiated on European interests and security without Europeans."
