The Minister of Housing, Isabel Rodríguez, has demanded that Junts "move to an abstention" in the vote on the decree law with measures regarding housing that is being examined this Friday in Congress, with the aim of ensuring its validation.
"What I hope is that they change their mind, that they go for an abstention, which allows us to process it as an urgent bill in this Chamber," the minister pointed out in Congress, referring to Junts when there was barely an hour left before the start of the debate on the housing decree laws approved by the Government on Tuesday and after the independentist formation confirmed its vote against both regulations, which leads them to their repeal.
The person in charge of Housing has thus reiterated the message already expressed by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, emphasizing that the votes this Friday represent "the hour of truth for everyone" and force a decision on whether one is "with the people or with the vultures."
"As the president said, the hour of truth will come for everyone, for all the deputies, for all the female deputies who will have to tell the Spanish people and the Catalan people if they are with them, if they are with the people or if they are with the vultures. This is all I have to say to you," Rodríguez concluded.
