The counselor of the Presidency of the Generalitat, Albert Dalmau, has responded to the president of Junts in the Parliament, Mònica Sales, emphasizing that the action of the Govern in response to the disturbances recorded this Saturday in Barcelona has been "forceful." His words come after Junts has demanded the appearance in the Catalan Chamber of the counselor of Interior, Núria Parlon, to provide explanations about the device and the management of the incidents.
Dalmau has emphasized in a message published this Sunday on the social network X that "Citizens expect from all of us firmness, collaboration, unity, and a sense of country. Catalonia is not helped by doing partisanship."
The counselor has valued the police action, recalling that more than 100 arrests related to these disturbances have been made and that, from the Catalan Executive, a "firm condemnation of the vandalistic and violent acts" has been formulated.
