Más Madrid has launched this week its primary process to choose those who will head the lists for the mayoralties of 23 municipalities of the Community of Madrid in the municipal elections scheduled for May 2027.

It is the second phase of this internal procedure, after the first round was resolved before the summer together with the candidacy for the Assembly of Madrid. That first batch included large localities, among them the capital, as well as municipalities where there were "certain internal tensions" such as Alcorcón.

In the current block of 23 open processes, the regionalist formation already participates in the local government of two municipalities. In Getafe it holds responsibilities in "Ecological Transition and Environment, Citizen Participation and Neighborhood Action, and Youth and Democratic Memory"; while in Cercedilla they assumed in 2025 "Education, Social Movements and Citizen Participation".

Along with these two town councils, the primary calendar extends to Arganda del Rey, Arroyomolinos, Boadilla del Monte, Bocema (El Boalo, Cerceda and Mataelpino), Ciempozuelos, Colmenar Viejo, Colmenarejo, Fuenlabrada, Hoyo de Manzanares, Las Rozas, Majadahonda, Morata de Tajuña, Navalcarnero, Paracuellos de Jarama, Pinto, San Fernando de Henares, San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Torrelodones, Valdemorillo, Villanueva de la Cañada and Villaviciosa de Odón.

According to what the party has reported in a statement, for now the period for correcting the census and registering candidate scrutineers has been enabled, which will remain open until November 6.

According to the organization's internal calendar, the primary campaign will run from November 23 to 27, with a break caused by the "general of 29N", and the voting will be held between November 30 and December 2.
