The head of the Executive, Pedro Sánchez, has confirmed that his wife, Begoña Gómez, has filed a complaint for identity theft following the video generated with artificial intelligence (AI) that the PP disseminated during the pre-campaign for the general elections on November 29.
The Popular Party published on its networks a montage created with AI that parodied the previous video of the PSOE in which the president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, expressed his pride in being "left-handed" on the occasion of the visit to Madrid by the Argentine president, Javier Milei.
In the PP piece, the image of Begoña Gómez is included, who appears defending that she is "left-handed" because she has obtained a chair thanks to her husband being "president of the Government; the former minister José Luis Ábalos emphasizing that he is also leftist because he consumes prostitution and receives illegal commissions; and the former socialist president José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero stating that he is "left-handed" because "he hides jewels".
During an interview on the podcast 'Keep It Cutre', Sánchez pointed out that the PSOE is not resorting to AI in the campaign for the 29N, thus responding to the letter from the candidate of the Frente Amplio, Ada Colau, in which she requested to avoid this technology with "humiliating uses".
The president has detailed that Begoña Gómez has formally filed a complaint for identity theft and has reproached the PP for resorting to "the same techniques as harassers against minors". "And a party that aspires to govern should fight against this type of ideas, not give these ideas that harassers use," Sánchez criticized, who also reproached the 'popular' leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, for having "validated" this type of practices.
