The national spokesperson and deputy secretary of Culture and Sports of the PP, Borja Sémper, has lashed out at the PSOE, which he accuses of resorting to "tricks" and "diluting its initials" with Frente Amplio because, as he stated, they have "the conviction" that they are going to "lose the elections" on November 29 and that is why they try to "do things so that it does not seem so."

Sémper expressed himself in these terms during an interview on 'El Programa de Ana Rosa', on 'Telecinco', reported by Europa Press, where he maintained that, despite these "plays of this style," citizens are "perfectly aware of what has happened" in the last two legislatures and "want a change."

"Regardless of how they present themselves, regardless of where they present themselves, there is a social majority that wants change," emphasized the 'popular' leader, stressing that this demand for political alternation is, in his opinion, well established in society.

In this line, Sémper emphasized that, "beyond what the PSOE does," the priority of the PP is to "offer Spaniards a future" based on social policies and in areas such as housing, pensions, taxes, or infrastructure. "This is what we offer Spaniards, a project of institutional regeneration," he stated.

When asked about the conversations with Vox regarding the lists for the Senate, Sémper avoided going into details, although he reiterated that both formations must ensure that "the future can be better than the past" and that the majorities that are configured in the Upper House respond to "the will of the Spaniards."

The 'popular' deputy secretary insisted that the PP will do everything possible to ensure that these objectives materialize in the Senate. "I believe that this is what is relevant. And we are going to do everything in our power to make this happen," he concluded.
