The PSOE has decided to cancel all the events scheduled for this Wednesday, October 28, after the railway accident reported early in the morning between the stations of Mora, Orgaz and Urda, in the province of Toledo.

From the socialist leadership they point out that they remain "pending official information" about the incident, in which two high-speed trains have been involved.

The party has opted to stop its public activity in the middle of the pre-campaign for the general elections of November 29, as sources from Ferraz have communicated.

In parallel, in Moncloa it has likewise been decided to cancel the official agenda of the ministers for this day, while the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has indicated that he maintains constant contact with the Minister of Transport, Óscar Puente, and with the President of Castilla La Mancha, Emiliano García Page.

Sánchez has also stated that he is "distressed" by the "serious" accident and has expressed his support for "all the victims", although the Executive has still not made official data public on the number of affected people.
