The FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have reached a preliminary agreement for the transfer of Ferran Torres for an amount close to 50 million euros. The two clubs have begun to exchange the necessary documentation and are working to definitively complete the operation in the coming days.

The negotiation is therefore in its final phase. The agreement still needs to be formalized, so the signing has not been officially announced by either of the two clubs.

Luis Enrique, key in PSG's interest

One of the main drivers of the forward's arrival at the Parisian club is Luis Enrique, who knows Ferran Torres particularly well from his time as Spanish national team coach.

The Asturian coach called up the Valencian for the first time to the senior national team in 2020 and subsequently made him one of his regular players. He could now coach him again in Paris.

PSG is looking to strengthen its offensive front after the departure of Gonçalo Ramos to AC Milan and particularly values Ferran's versatility, capable of playing as a center forward and also on either of the two wings.

The attacker would also arrive in Paris after going through one of the best moments of his career and after becoming one of the figures of Spain during the 2026 World Cup.
