Spain and Chile face each other this Saturday and Sunday in the second round of the Davis Cup Qualifiers. The tie takes place at the National Stadium in Santiago and will feature singles and doubles matches.

The Spanish team is made up of Rafa Jódar, Dani Mérida, Martín Landaluce, Jaume Munar, and Pedro Martínez, under the captaincy of David Ferrer. Chile will compete with Alejandro Tabilo, Cristian Garín, Tomás Barrios Vera, and Matías Soto, led by Nicolás Massú.

Match schedules

The tie will begin on Saturday, September 19, at 18:00 hours in Spain, equivalent to 13:00 hours in Chile. On Sunday the 20th, the matches will start at 17:00 hours peninsula time, starting at 12:00 hours in Santiago.

The planned order of play includes the singles matches between Alejandro Tabilo and Dani Mérida, and between Cristian Garín and Rafa Jódar during the first day. On Sunday, the doubles match and the two remaining singles will be played.
