Agenda August 24-30
BACK TO SCHOOL
Where we left off… The Council of Ministers meets for the first time after the summer break this Tuesday, August 25. A meeting in which the Ceuta crisis will surely be one of the main topics on the agenda.
Ministerial parade. The Congress of Deputies resumes activity. And it does so with the appearances of several ministers before their respective committees to report on the different aspects of the migratory crisis in Ceuta. Thus, on Tuesday, the 25th, Margarita Robles will appear in Defense; on Thursday, the 27th, Félix Bolaños will do so before the Joint Committee on National Security and Mónica García before Health; and on Friday, the 28th, Marlaska, Albares, and Elma Saiz.
Anything else? On August 26, the Permanent Deputation meets, whose agenda is not finalized until the deadline for groups to submit their requests, which ends on Monday the 24th. It is expected that a vote will be held to call an extraordinary plenary session for the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, to provide explanations before the Plenary regarding the massive entry of migrants in Ceuta.
